He was always communicative about every step of the process, and he explained all the documentation I was signing and why I was signing it. He was very transparent about the whole process. I am writing on behalf of Jim Jarrett whom my husband and I have known for over a year now and who we have worked with in order to build our home. We started the process around last January with Jim to begin building our second home with because our first experience with another sales representative, unfortunately, was not a good one. We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful service and guidance you provided us through the construction of our new home. As you know, we were first-time home buyers, and we were not exactly sure what we wanted or what we could afford to purchase.

We looked for a house for at least 18 months working with a number of real estate agents and speaking with many sales associates for new construction housing plans. We actually submitted offers for four properties during the course of our search, but all of these deals fell through for various reasons. We believe the reasons were mostly due to the lack of a proactive real estate agent.

As you know, we met you early on in our search for a home, and we fell in love with houses that, at the time, we could not afford due to higher interest rates or the cost. We admire your integrity in not trying to sell us a house that did not meet our budget. Despite the fact that we had worked with at least eight different real estate agents, you were the only one that kept in touch with us over the course of 18 months. From time to time, you apprised us of new construction that was available along with special sales incentive offers. You knew exactly what we were looking for and attempted to find the perfect fit for us. Jim, you were truly committed to not only selling us a house, but selling us the “right house”.

Being a young couple and first-time home buyers, we felt that you treated us as if we were your own children, giving us proper guidance and looking out for our best interests. You made the sales process extremely simple, and you were always so responsive in addressing our questions during the course of the construction. Often, the questions we had were not even your area of responsibility; however, you went out of your way to make sure we received timely and satisfactory responses.

Purchasing a home is a daunting experience and can be very intimidating, especially your first home. You do a tremendous job in shepherding your customers through the sales process, and we applaud the fact that you had so much patience with us. You had the tenacity to pursue us over a very long time, unlike most of the sales people we dealt with in the past. Jim, you are truly committed to your customers and, we are positive that you will continue to treat them with the level of service that we received. We wanted to take this opportunity to write a commendation on behalf of Jim Jarrett. The family purchasing our home wanted to move in within 30 days of the contract. Needless to say, we were scrambling to find a home, and our real estate agent that sold our home was not really making it an effort to find us a new home. We were pretty stressed out, and becoming very discouraged, until we made a phone call, and met Jim.

Jim was very pleasant, personable, and went out of his way to make our entire experience quite enjoyable, which is not an easy task with the purchase of a home. Our goal was to be in a house before our kids started school at the end of August, and Jim went out of his way to make sure that it happened for us. (We closed on our new home 6 days before the start of school). If we had not happened upon him in our time of need, I do not believe we would be in our home that we are in now.

If there arises a need in the future for us to need a real estate agent, we would contact Jim to help us sell/buy a new home. We had a wonderful experience working with him, and would work with him again in the future.

I am writing this letter as a recommendation for Jim Jarrett. As first time homebuyers, we were nervous of taking that leap and regretting the decision that we made in choosing a real estate office.
